As expected Apple will be using it’s own maps in iOS 6. Apple have added lots of new features in it, with it’s Turn-by-Turn navigation , as you approach a turn map speaks where to go then so you can keep your eyes on the road, and if you misses the turn map will automatically re-routes and updates your ETA.  Along with this you also get real-time traffic information, and if there’s a major incident or traffic is messed up Maps offer you alternative way to save your time. With photo-realistic you can also see major metro areas in 3D views. Explore the cities in high resolution as you zoom around the city and its landmarks.


iOS 6 brings you even better web browsing. Safari has now iCloud tabs which allows for browsing sessions to be synced across your devices. Now it also has offline reading list so you can continue your reading when you don’t have internet access. It allows you take photos or to choose from Camera Roll and upload directly to your favorite websites without leaving Safari.


The Mail app gets some new nice features. Mail in iOS 6 allows you set-up a VIPs and their emails will be starred and appear in flagged mailbox, so you can never miss important mails. It’s now very easier to add photos and videos in emails and you can refresh your mails with simple pull.


A new app called Passbook will allow you to collect and store boarding passes, movie tickets, retail coupons, loyalty cards, and more. With this app you can check-in for a flight, get into movie, and even redeem a coupon. You can also see when your coupon expires. The app will even pull up the relevant card when you are near place where you would use it.

Guided Access

iOS 6 comes with new features to make the device easier to use for disable persons. Guided Access also allows students to with certain disabilities to remain on task and to focus on content. VoiceOver a new feature which reads screen for blinds and low vision users. VoiceOver is integrated with Maps, AssistiveTouch, and Zoom.
