iPhonestic brings you . The long awaited iPhone 5 is released by Apple today with new features and a larger screen. There were lots of rumors going around about iPhone 5, but today none of the thing is rumor. Apple haven’t disappointed us on this release, as they did year ago. We hope that the new device will work perfect as the previous ones.
The iPhone 5 has a larger screen than all the previous versions, at 4 inches, the resolution of new one’s is 1,136 x 640 or 326 pixels per inch. It has retina display and larger screen has a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio and has lengthened the phone overall. It allows six rows of apps on the screen, five rows on the page and a permanent row along bottom.
The apps designed for previos versions won’t scale to the new screen, they will appear with black bars on the both ends.The phone is made eentirely of glass and aluminum, and it’s also thinner and weighs less than iPhone 4S, it’s 7.6mm thinner than iPhone 4S and 20% lighter than it.
As rumored it’s the company’s first 4G LTE phone so it will be compatible with high-speed LTE networks of AT&T, Verizon and Sprint and many other global LTE networks.
The “ultrafast” wireless incorporates 5GHz 802.11n Ei-Fi, giving it 5 more bandwith overall.
The new processor powers the device, the Apple A6, it’s twice as fast as its predecessor. It’s 22% smaller and increased performance using less battery life.
The camera also got an upgrade. Although it’s still 8-megapixel sensor it’s 25% smaller and includes more features. The new dynamic low light mode will give you better pictures without using flash. The upgraded camera will snap pictures 40% faster according to Apple.
Apple also have shrunk the dock connector of the iPhone, replacing it with a much smaller jack. The new iPhone includes improvements to voice calls. It’s equipped with three microphone, so the performance of Siri could be better.
The iPhone 5 goes on sale Sept. 21 in U.S., Canada, Japan, the U.K., Germany, France, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. Similar pricing to it’s predecessors. $199 for 16GB of storage with two year contract, and 32GB and 64GB models will be available for $299 and $399 respectively.
